Stephen Collins
Seaview, Ballycastle, Ballina, Co. Mayo, formerly of Baralty, Glenamoy and also formerly of Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare - peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 28^th January 2021.

Predeceased by his wife Teresa, brother Patrick and sister Ann.

He will be missed by his heartbroken family, daughters Merlyn (Celbridge, Co. Kildare) and Stephanie (Melbourne, Australia), sons Stephen (Ballycastle) and Paraic (Leixlip, Co. Kildare),brother Mike (Clare), sisters Mary (Limerick), Bridget (Clare), Kay (Clare), Nora (Dublin), Theresa (Dublin), Carmel (Clare), brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral will depart from McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday at 12.30 and will arrive at St. Bridget’s Church, Ballycastle for Funeral Mass at 1.30 followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Director’s Facebook page with streaming of all the funeral service for the late Stephen Collins available after 8 o’clock on Sunday evening.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Stephen’s funeral will be private for immediate family only.

For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and enroute to the church, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard. The Collins family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.

Memorial Mass for the soul of Stephen will be held at a later date.

For those who cannot attend due to restrictions, please leave a personal message for the family on the condolence form on this webpage.
