Sally Davitt née Grady,

Shrahrooskey, Cregganbawn, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (January 29th, 2021) - peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her brothers Jimmy & Austie.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband Johnny, son Michael (Shrahrooskey), daughter Karen Nugent (Braintree, Mass), brothers Michael-John, Tommy-Joe & Pat, sister Maureen Gormley, son-in-law Peadar, daughter-in-law Mairead, grandchildren Caitlin, Ryan, Darragh & Charlie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

In keeping with HSE guidelines the funeral will be private to family only.

Funeral departing her home on Sunday (January 31st) at 11.00am via Creggabawn-Feenone - Killeen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Sincere sympathy to everyone that loved Sally, she was easy to love, and such a beautiful soul, I remember often taking Daddy to town to the doctor then the chemist, and finally for a pint in the Derrylachan, on our way we'd meet Sally going shopping in Durkans, we'd have a hug and kisses and a big chat.... go for the one, and on our way back to the car again, meet Sally again and do the same thing all over again as if we hadn't met in years. Many a lovely holiday I had in Curra with my Godparents Bridgie and Patrick, and Johnny would visit from Coventry, my granny and Bridgie were first cousins and granny was Bridgies Aunt, her prized possession was a jug Granny gave her as a wedding present..
