Joseph (Joe) Newton,

The Fairways, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and late of Sandyford Dublin and Horsforth, Leeds (28th January 2021) - peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill.

Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy and Connie. 

Much devoted husband and sadly missed by his wife Flo, nieces and nephews Marianne and Gabriel, Andrew, Sheila and Ann, Derek and John, extended family, wonderful neighbours, members of Castlerea Golf Club and a great circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace. 

Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect the most vulnerable in our community a private family funeral will take place.

Joe's funeral cortege will leave Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square at 10.30am on Tuesday morning (2nd February) to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Joe's funeral Mass will be live-streamed via Gaynor Funeral Directors Facebook page.
