Michael Doherty,

Bayview, Binghamstown, Belmullet - in the tender care of Ward C Covid Unit at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 20^th January 2021.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Mary Doherty, brothers Patrick and Jimmy.

He will be sadly missed by his brother John Thomas Doherty (Crawley, England), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral will depart from McDonnell's Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday morning at 11 o'clock and travel via the Michael’s residence in Bayview, arriving for Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, Binghamstown at 12 o’clock.

Burial afterwards in Cross Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Director’s Facebook page with streaming of all the funeral service for the late Michael Doherty available after 6 O’Clock on Monday evening.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Michael’s funeral will be private for immediate family only.

For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and enroute to the church, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.

The Doherty family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.

Memorial Mass for the soul of Michael will be held at a later date.
