Mickey Dunleavy Senior (The Wrestler),

Barrack Street, Charlestown - peacefully in the tender loving care of the Management and Staff of St. Attractas Residence.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Margaret, daughter Siobhan, son Michael, daughter-in-law Marie, sisters Kathleen, Angela and Monica, brothers Louis and Séamus, grandchilderen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Funeral departs from the Horkan Funeral Home to arrive at the Church of St. James, Charlestown on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Due to current restrictions and HSE guidelines the funeral is private to family only.

I was indeed very saddened to hear of the passing of my very good friend Mickey. I left Swinford at the age of 16 and i met Mickey in Birmingham. He learned me so much about how to lay gas mains and services and of course wrestling. When i came back from Birmingham to search for my family and found that i had connections in Charlestown Mickey was delighted and i often called in to see him and he would have the breakfast ready. To Margaret, Siobhan and and Puggy and all the Dunleavy family i send my sincere condolences. Mickey was one of life's good people and i want to say thank you Mickey for all your help, you were a true friend. And i hope that we have a reunion in Gods Kingdom and may the light of heaven shine on you. And may your gentle soul Rest in Peace. You will never be forgotten.
