Michael Leneghan (better known as Mike),

9 Castlehill and formerly of Donna, Ballycroy, Westport, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Belmullet Community Hospital on 11^th December 2020.

Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine (née McGowan) and his siblings Neil, Mamie, Tom, Patrick and Vincent.

He will be sadly missed by his sisters Eileen Loftus (Ballina) and Teresa Pilchard (U.S.A.), nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Funeral cortege will leave McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday morning at 11 O’Clock, via Donna to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy for Requiem Mass at 12 O’Clock followed by burial in the Old Cemetery, Fahy, Ballycroy.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Belmullet Community Hospital, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Michael’s funeral will be private for family and close friends only, with twenty five people or less in attendance for Requiem Mass. The family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.

Memorial Mass for the soul of Michael will be held at a later date.
