Maurice Henry Walsh,

Abbeyfield, Killester, Dublin (originally of Graig Abbey, Athenry, Co. Galway).

He died peacefully at home after a short illness surrounded by his close family.

He is survived by his wife Valerie, son Tom, daughters Liz and Marianne and grandchildren Emily and baby Isabelle.

May his soul ascend to heaven and rest in peace.

As per government restrictions, he will be removed from his home in Dublin on Monday morning to Burrishoole Parish Church, Newport, Co. Mayo where a private Funeral Mass (max. 25 within the church) will take place at 11 o’clock on Tuesday.

Burial will be at Burrishoole Abbey Cemetery.
