Padraig Ruddy,

Derrynameel, Barnatra, Ballina, Co.Mayo, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on the 26th of October 2020 aged 81 years.

Predeceased by Alice, his sisters Margaret Moran (Birmingham) and Ellen Barrett (Coventry).

Beloved dad of Agnes, John and Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his adored grandchildren, Shauna, Ryan, Emma, Ethan, Jake, Zack and Holly, sister Mary McAndrew (Ballina), brother Seamus Ruddy (Derrynameel), daughters-in-law Theresa and Christina, son-in-law Neil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, his many friends and good neighbours.

May Padraig’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Padraig’s funeral cortege will leave his daughter's residence on Thursday, the 29th of October, at 12:30pm to arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle for Funeral Mass at 1pm.

Burial will take place afterwards in Glencastle New Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Palliative Care at Mayo University Hospital c/o Healy’s Funeral Directors, Barnatra.

Due to HSE guidelines regarding the Corona Virus (Covid 19), Padraig’s Funeral Mass is confined to family only.

A Memorial Mass for the repose of Padraig’s soul will be held at a later date which will be announced in due course.

The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time.
