Requiem Mass on Friday morning (October 2nd) at 11 o’clock in St. Brendan's Church, Myna, Kilmeena with the funeral proceeding to The Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newport Road, Westport. 

Due the HSE and Government guidelines regarding public gatherings Maureen's Funeral will be private to close family, neighbours and friends.

Please adhere to social distancing, no hand shaking and the wearing of face coverings is strongly advised.

No Flowers by request. Donations if desired to a Charity of your choice

Maureen was a much loved Aunt to me and my brother Tony as well as a a loved sister to my late father Tony and sister in law to my mother Anne. She was incredibly kindhearted and generous. In her day she was a really impressive long distance runner and I heard how she gave swimming lessons in Westport too. I know she dearly loved all the O'Neill family in Bohola and beyond and had felt very at home in Kilmeena. We are so sad not to have been able to attend the funeral and say goodbye to her in person but we will cherish the happy memories we have of her. We will remember you with love, Lucy, Tony and Anne.
