Annie (Nan) Gorman nee Lennon,

Main Street, Gurteen, Co. Sligo and formerly of Fauleens, Monasteraden (September 8th 2020) - peacefully in her 101st year in the loving care of the staff and nurses of the Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen.

May Annie’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, on Thursday (10th September) from 5.30pm until 7 o’clock.

Mass of the Resurrection on Friday morning at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery.

Mask-wearing and no handshaking in the Church please.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, Annie’s funeral will take place privately to family, neighbours and close friends only.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be offered at a later date.

The family would like to thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.

Sorry for belated message.
Brian and Ann sorry for your loss of your dear Mother ,may God comfort you in your loss .I think Nan was related to my Grandfather Connie Lennon. I still have a memory as a young boy around 4 years old I guess ,of the day Tom your Grandfather left the house in Fauleens for the last time to move to Gurteen, I have a memory of him saying goodbye to people outside the house ,my Father must have come over to say goodbye and brought me with hm.
I have very few recollections from that age but for some reason that always has been a memory.
.God bless you Brian and your family and keep you all safe .Have a lovely Christmas ,sad as it will be without your Mum
