Aunty Betty,
I will never forget you;
I will never forget you well into your 80s and rocketing around on your bicycle;
I will never forget the volume of food you would produce for us or the huge pours of drinks;
I will never forget the holy water and prayer you produced for the car when I passed my driving test (!);
I will never forget your kindness, your generosity nor your love;
I will never forget the way you said “Jesus, Mary and Joseph;”
I will never forget how important you were to my mum;
I hope Alex and I turn into half the woman you were.
RIP Aunty Betty - say hi to Uncle Mick and Brando from us. We will miss you everyday xx

Sincere sympathy to the Naughton family on the loss of Betty RIP. She spoke so fondly of all her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We, as neighbours enjoyed our many visits to her house & it was a pleasure to see her smiling face & light hearted attitude when she came to see us. She was so friendly with everyone in the neighbourhood, rejoiced with people on happy occasions and always so compassionate in sad times. Nothing negative to say about her time in St. Pappins. Herself & Mick were very united and we trust they are together again. May they both rest in peace.

We are absolutely devastated to hear that our lovely Auntie Betty is no longer with us. Wherever she went she spread her infectious laughter, and no nonsense approach "Ah, go way will ya". She was loved by all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love, caring and compassionate behaviour that few people could fill. She is reunited with her much missed husband Mick, another true diamond. The world is a sadder place without Betty's smiling eyes and love. RIP Betty ? Love Michael, Judy, Caitlin and John xxxx
