Brian Gallagher,

Hazel Grove, Newport Road, Castlebar and late of Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal – peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Dearly loved husband of Mary nee Carolan and father of the late Tony and brother of the late Padraig.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughter Bernie, sons Edd, Brendan, Joseph and Christopher, grandchildren, brothers Aidan and Declan, sisters Mary (Toosie), Bríd, Anna, Grania and Evelyn, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Brian was well known in the showband and music industry. He had a number of hit recordings in the Irish music scene.

Reposing at the home of his daughter Bernie Kavanagh, 129 Knockaphunta Park, Westport Road, Castlebar (Eircode F23 FV48) with removal on Saturday at 10.30am to Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal arriving for the Ferry at 3 o'clock.

Reposing at the home of his sister Grania in Ballard, Arranmore Island.

Mass in St. Crone’s Church on Sunday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the local Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Palliative Care, c/o Kilcoyne Funeral Directors, Castlebar.
