Maggie Egan nee Ruane,

Carrowcarden, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo - peacefully at her residence in her 102nd year.

Maggie, predeceased by her husband John, beloved mother of Maeve Gallagher (Donegal), Vivienne Armstrong (Mount Falcon, Ballina) Michael & Annette Gilroy (Kilglass).

Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, daughter-in-law Eileen, sons-in-law Eunan, Pat & Eamon, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Kathleen Ruane, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence with removal on Sunday evening at 7.30pm to St. Joseph's Church, Castleconnor arriving at 8pm. 

Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Killanley Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to a charity of your choice, c/o McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina.

Due to current Government and HSE guidelines Maggie's removal and Mass will be private to family and friends.

She was a very caring Religious Lady and I will always have a special place in my heart for Maggie and her family. They were always so nice to me from the first day I met them. I know Maggies daughter n Law Eileenwas so good to Maggie and loved and cared her like she was her own Mum and she will miss her terribly . You are all n my thoughts and Prayers so stay strong. It's very hard on u all for Maggie funeral with the Restrictions that poor Maggie cannot get the send off she deserves. It's just sad as she loved Mass and Prayers. I always said the Rosary with her and that gave her great Peace... Eileen u will b rewarded for the great care u gave Maggie always and especially n her final few years. You are such a caring Person just like Maggie was. Maggie was a great Nurse and helped alot n the Community all down the years. May she Rest n Peace
