Father John Waldron, 28th May 2020, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and Portland, Oregon, peacefully in Oregon, brother of the late Monsignor Tommy, Fr. Pat, Michael and Mary.  Very deeply regretted by his loving family, sister-in-law Teresa, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, Bishop, priests and religious of the Diocese of Oregon, relatives, parishioners and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Fr. John`s funeral will take place in Portland.  A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will take place in Castlebar at a later date.  If you would like to leave a personal message for the family please click on the condolence link below.

To Teresa and family. I was so sorry to hear of John’s death. Many memories come up - his walking down Station Road in the 60’s bouncing a golf ball, craic in the links, visiting him in Oregon in the ‘70s, his hoping in an email after Pat and Mary died that ‘the stars will come together and we will meet in Castlebar or some part of this world we inhabit’. We never did catch up. You will miss him and his visits so much.
