Breege McGuane (née Leneghan),

Chicago, U.S.A. and formerly of Muingmore, Bunnahowen, Belmullet, 15th May 2020 following an illness borne with dignity. 

Peacefully at her home and surrounded by her loving family and caregivers.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Martin and daughter Susan, sister Rosaleen and brother P.J.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters, Mary Pat, Deirdre and Sheila and son Gerard.  Sons in- law Brian Eggers, Brian Murray, Danny Horn and Dan Kowalczyk and daughter in- law Kelli.  Adored Grandma to her 17 grandchildren.  Cherished sister to May (Ballinasloe), Tony (Newcastle-upon-Tyne), Michael (Muingmore), Ann (Nenagh).  Brothers in-law Hughie and Tom.  Sisters in-law Jean, Mary Ellen and Bridie.  Nieces and nephews, cousin to many, relatives and many friends.

Breege was well known for her deep faith, love of family, her kindness, caring and generous nature.  Her love of all things related to Mayo and Ireland.

Funeral service on Friday 22nd May at Cooney’s Funeral Home, Park Ridge, Chicago followed by intombment at Maryhill Cemetery. Memorial Masses will be held in due course.
