Knocklyon, Dublin and formerly of Knockfree, Co. Mayo– May 13, 2020, peacefully at Cherry Orchard, Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Nell, he will be sadly missed by his children Declan, Dervilla, Joe, Ciara and Paul, grandchildren Danielle, Daragh, Lauren, Sophie, Ava and Emily, his brothers PJ and Mike and sisters Monica and Jacinta. Brothers in law Martin and Pat, sisters in law Maureen and Nancy. Partners of the family Liz, Jason, Annie, Gary, Dee and Carl. Nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Rest in Peace

A private family funeral will take place, due to government advice regarding public gatherings.

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but who cannot due to current restrictions, please leave your personal message for Des’s family in the Condolences section below this notice.
